Hello MoonEdgers,

Looking ahead to our upcoming public launch, we would like to ensure that users are educated on how to transfer their funds over to the Polygon Network to participate. This article will show users step-by-step how to transfer their USDC funds from the Ethereum Network over to Polygon (MATIC) using the Official Polygon Web Wallet and Bridge.

Please remember that users must have USDC on the Polygon Network in their MetaMask wallet to participate in MoonEdge’s $MOONED token sale.

Bridging Ethereum Funds to Polygon (MATIC)

Step 1) Ensure that you have added Polygon (MATIC) Mainnet to your Metamask. If you have yet to do so, please follow our instructional article on How to Connect to Polygon.

Step 2) Please go to https://wallet.matic.network/ and connect your MetaMask by approving a unique signature request within your MetaMask wallet.

Step 3) Once signed, you will then be logged in and directed to your Polygon Web Wallet landing page, as seen below. Within the landing page, you can view your token balances on the Polygon Network.

Step 4) On the landing page, you will then want to select “Move funds from Ethereum to Polygon” or “Deposit” beside the token you wish to transfer from your Ethereum funds.

In this case, we will be selecting USDC to transfer over in order to participate in the $MOONED token sale.

Step 5) Once you select to deposit your funds from ethereum you will then be redirected to the Polygon Bridge landing page. Here you will enter the amount of USDC you wish to transfer, and select the “Transfer” button.

Note: If you are whitelisted to participate in the $MOONED token sale, you can contribute a maximum of $500 USDC to the sale.

Step 6) Once you have selected to transfer your funds, a pop-up will appear highlighting important information about the transfer. You will then select “Continue” to confirm. A Transfer Overview pop-up will appear which you can then select “Continue” to move to the next step.

Step 7) You will then be presented with the next pop-up which will prompt you to switch to the Ethereum Network within your MetaMask. Once you have switched over to the Ethereum Network, you can press “Continue” to begin the transfer process.

Step 8) Select the “Continue” button and confirm all transactions within your MetaMask. This process will take a few minutes, so feel free to use “Fast Gas” for the quickest process if you are comfortable with the cost.

Step 9) Once complete, your USDC will now be viewable in your Polygon Web Wallet and usable on the Polygon Network through your MetaMask. You are now ready for the $MOONED token sale. Congratulations!

Need to bridge from BSC to Ethereum first?
If users need to transfer their funds from Binance Smart Chain to Polygon, please follow this guide here to first bridge from BSC to the Ethereum Network. Users can then proceed to follow this article once funds are on the Ethereum Network to then bridge to Polygon.
