Hello MoonEdgers,
As we near our highly anticipated public launch, we would like to ensure that everyone is informed on how to set up their MetaMask to participate. This article will show users step-by-step how to add the Polygon (MATIC) Network as a custom RPC to MetaMask.
Please remember that this is a requirement to participate in MoonEdge’s $MOONED token sale and other future IDOs on the platform.
Adding Polygon (MATIC) Mainnet to your Metamask
Step 1) Open your MetaMask extension in your preferred browser and click the Network Selection dropdown button on the top.
Step 2) Next, click on Custom RPC. Users will find the Custom RPC option at the bottom of the dropdown list, as shown below.
Step 3)*updated A new window will open, prompting network information for the Polygon Network. Fill in this information identical to the details provided below.
Network Name: Polygon Mainnet
New RPC URL: https://rpc-mainnet.matic.network
ChainID: 137
Symbol: MATIC
Block Explorer URL: https:/polygonscan.com
Step 4) Once the Network details have been filled in, you must click on Save in the bottom right corner. You will now be directly switched to the Polygon Mainnet in the network dropdown list.
