Forest Knight is an exciting turn-based strategy game that enables players to build their perfect team as they embark on a wild adventure throughout the world of Chronville. The actual characters in Forest Knight are unique digital assets powered by an array of smart contracts, allowing them to function much like a typical online game.
Forest Knight is brought to us by Chrono Games (hence the fantasy world of Chronville) which is based out of Hamburg, Germany. Its founders realized early in their development of Forest Knight that the world of blockchain and DeFi was powerful and on the rise, and they very much wanted to contribute to it. Shortly after this realization, a chance meeting took place with the creators of JumpNet, the Enjin Team.
It was during this discussion at the United Berlin Conference that a shared passion was revealed, a trust was sparked, and a subsequent partnership was formed — one that would propel the development of Forest Knight forward.
JumpNet: Gas-Free Gameplay
Forest Knight has gone on to become one of the first early adopters of Enjin, accompanying the team from its very early stages and providing the first smart contracts for their upcoming Jumpnet release.
Jumpnet is a private version of the Ethereum network that uses a PoA method of consensus which allows for fast, safe, and gas-free transactions. By integrating JumpNet with Forest Knight, players can take advantage of a wide range of NFT-based features without the hassle of a Blockchain Item transfer stop.
Further, Forest Knight is expanding their multichain interoperability with a focus on Polygon. By leveraging the unique characteristics of Polygon Network, Forest Knight can offer its users the best in class transaction fees paired with the fastest speeds. Finally, through Polygon, they provide their users access to a rapidly expanding and innovative ecosystem.
